POSITION: PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR

SALARY: $18.00/HOUR

HOURS PER WEEK: 30 HOURS

DEPARTMENT: ADMINISTRATION

REPORTS TO: MAYOR

STATUS: REGULAR, NON-UNION

OPENING DATE: August 31, 2026

CLOSING DATE: September 14, 2026

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Inspects/repairs water meters, streets and roadways, drainage systems, and water/wastewater systems at frequent intervals to ensure that all aspects of these systems are function properly. Reads water meters on a monthly basis. Maintains snow removal from streets and intersections. Maintains Town owned buildings and parks. Operates a variety of power construction and maintenance vehicles.

This position is governed by the Town of Richey Personnel Policy Manual, which each employee is required to acknowledge and sign when hired by the Town.
