Phase II Water Project Construction Update

GREAT NEWS!! On May 30, the Town reviewed the five construction bids it received for Phase II of the water main replacement project. Having this many interested contractors made the bid process much more competitive this time around, and as a result, the Town will be able to replace 12 full blocks of water mains this summer! Second Street East, 1st Street East, 1st Street West, and 2nd Street West will all be upgraded between Royal Ave. and Railroad Ave. The Town Council has officially accepted the bid from Easton Companies, out of Bozeman, which expects to begin construction during the second half of August and complete the work before the cold weather sets in.
