Water Usage and Construction Updates

Water Usage: A water leak was discovered at the Railroad Ave. construction site this weekend, which was the likely cause of the low water tank level. COP Construction is working to fix that today and will begin moving out when they are done. To be on the safe side, please refrain from watering your lawns or washing vehicles today until we confirm that the water level is back to normal.
Phase 2 Construction: Easton Companies, the contractor for the Phase 2 water main replacement construction work, will be in town today and Tuesday to begin some preliminary digging and staging. 2nd Street East will be closed from Royal Ave. to Elk Ave. this morning, and from Elk Ave. to Railroad Ave. later on. If possible, please avoid using 2nd Street East today and tomorrow. Full Phase 2 construction work is scheduled to begin next Thursday, September 5, on 2nd Street East.
