Phase 2 Water Main Construction Officially Begins TODAY!

Easton Companies/Grade A Civil will officially start construction on Phase 2 of our water main replacement project as of today, Thursday, September 5. This project is expected to last for around two months.
Easton will begin work on 2nd Street East today, then move on to 1st Street East, and eventually end up on 2nd Street West. We have been told that residents' water will NOT be affected or turned off during construction until the final switchover to the new mains, which should be a quick transition.
While construction work is in progress, different streets will be partially or fully closed at different times. For your safety and that of the workers, please respect all construction/road closure signs. If possible, avoid driving around these areas, and use extra caution if you do need to travel near an active work zone. Parents, please especially let your children know to stay away from construction areas.
